Why this index exists

Patients researching dental treatment in Turkey face two problems at once: a large number of clinics and marketing claims that are hard to verify across borders. Turkey Dental Ratings was created to cut through that noise with a neutral scoring model based on publicly checkable criteria.

The index does not sell rankings, placements, or featured positions. Every clinic is scored on the same five weighted dimensions, and the methodology is published so readers can reproduce the logic.

What makes the index independent

• No clinic pays for a higher rank or profile placement.
• Scores are derived from public accreditation records, technology disclosures, and international-care documentation.
• Updates are scheduled on a fixed cycle, not driven by advertising contracts.
• Editorial decisions are documented in the editorial policy and methodology pages.

Data sources

The index draws on official accreditation registries (JCI, TEMOS, ISO), manufacturer partnership listings, clinic-published technology and team disclosures, and documented international patient protocols. Where a claim cannot be verified publicly, it is not counted in the score.
